Tessa Hadley has written six novels including The London Train, Clever Girl and The Past, and three collections of short stories. Her latest collection of stories, Bad Dreams, came out in January 2017. She publishes stories regularly in the New Yorker, reviews for the London Review of Books, the TLS and the Guardian, and is a Professor at Bath Spa University. In 2016 she won the Hawthornden Prize for The Past, and also a Windham-Campbell Award.
