Start Small: THINK BIG – masterclass weekend with award-winning authors
Are you looking to make a real difference to your writing? Join a small group of fellow writers—published and unpublished—in beautiful Bloomsbury for a weekend in the company of some of the finest short story writers in the world.
In a unique collaboration between short story promoters Word Factory and the Birkbeck Writing Programme, David Vann, Deborah Levy, Adam Marek, Julia Bell and Alison Moore will work with you to help you focus your stories and ignite your imagination. Literary agent and publisher Carrie Kania will advise on how to successfully reach the right agent and with Word Factory and Sunday Times EFG Private Bank short story award founder Cathy Galvin, will offer individual feedback on your work.
There will be time for intensive writing, thought-provoking conversation, new collaborations and fun.

Each day will be divided into three sessions with morning and afternoon breaks and lunch.
The Keynes Library, School of Arts, Birkbeck College, University of London.
