Keep. Your. Nerve. Whenever people tell me they want to be a writer I tell them they have to have nerves of steel and the hide of a rhino – there are so many ups and downs throughout a writer’s career. It’s a marathon, not a sprint – so I guess all writers should have KEEP YOUR NERVE tattooed to their foreheads.
