Writers pushing the boundaries of the form

Salons & Talks —The Change Makers

In 2018 and early 2019, Word Factory is focussing on The Change Makers, an exclusive programme of salons and discussions with writers pushing the boundaries of the short story form, commissioned exclusively by Word Factory in partnership with Arts Council England to share new work and inspiration.

As part of this project, we have also launched our own exclusive limited edition imprint showcasing some of the best UK short story writing talent, The Guillemot Factory, with Guillemot Press and will be celebrating the acclaimed series at our Word Factory day on October 6th at Waterstones Piccadilly with authors Carys Davies, Jessie Greengrass, David Constantine and Adam Marek.
