Divya Ghelani grew up in Leicestershire and now lives between the UK and Berlin. She holds an MA in Creative Writing from the University of East Anglia and an MPhil in Literary Studies from the University of Hong Kong.
Divya is working on her debut novel, RUNAWAY. It was shortlisted for Harry Bowling Prize for New Writing, the SI Leeds Literary Prize, and Penguin Random House’s WriteNowLive Scheme. It was also longlisted for the prestigious Deborah Rogers’ Prize for New Writing.
Divya’s stories have been published in the likes of Litro India (editor Shashi Tharoor), MIROnline, The Bookseller, the 2017 BareLit Anthology and more.
